Let’s get acquainted. My name is Tetiana Kalyakina. I am from the city of Zaporizhzhia. I entered the nail industry by chance. At first, I just wanted to do manicures for myself, and I really enjoyed it. However, after watching free tutorials online, I realized that this information was not enough for me. I had many questions and needed proper answers. Then I understood that I could only get those answers from professionals in this field. So, I enrolled in manicure courses — that’s how it all began. After completing the courses, I became so fascinated by this work that later I started taking clients. With every new training, every marathon I joined, my passion for my work grew stronger each month. After the war began, I was forced to go abroad with my child. There I had more opportunities to devote time to my favorite craft. Thanks to Raisa Martynova, I took part in a championship. She filled me with confidence, told me that my work was good and that I had potential. Her support inspired me so much that I decided to participate in the championship. At my very first championship, I won first place. Then came other championships — in Germany, in Paris. Later in 2024, I completed training as an instructor with the European Association of Nail Masters (IEEBA).
